This course introduces materials and techniques suitable for painting on paper using a water-based medium. Emphasis is placed on developing both technical skills and the expressive qualities of watercolor painting. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate basic proficiency in handling watercolor techniques and their application for personal expression.

ART 113, ART 121, or consent of instructor.
