This course offers a practical understanding of computer spreadsheets and their application in accounting. Topics include pre-programmed problems, model-building challenges, introductory macros, graphics, and enhancements for what-if analysis of template problems. Upon completion, students should be able to utilize the Microsoft Excel 2010 application to design, format, graph, and create business spreadsheets that integrate accounting, financial, statistical, and other functions. The course will also prepare students for the Microsoft Office Excel 2010 Certification.
