The visual communications program prepares students for careers in graphic design across print media, multimedia, and various applications of commercial art. The multimedia option focuses on the creative and technical processes involved in print media production—such as publishing and advertising—and multimedia production for the World Wide Web, along with other internet, presentation, and digital multimedia applications. Most courses require students to use industry-standard software on personal computers.
