This course offers students the opportunity to integrate advanced nursing care concepts within a family and community context. The content includes, but is not limited to, the role of care manager for advanced concepts in safety, fluid and electrolyte balance, cellular regulation, gas exchange, psychosocial well-being, growth and development, perfusion, and medical emergencies.

Prerequisites

NUR 112, NUR 113, NUR 114, NUR 115; or successful completion of NUR 209 with a grade of ā€œCā€ or better.

Corequisites

BIO 220 with a grade of ā€œCā€ or better
