This course provides foundational knowledge in nursing concepts and clinical decision-making to facilitate evidence-based nursing care. The content includes, but is not limited to, healthcare delivery systems, professionalism, health promotion, psychosocial well-being, functional ability, gas exchange, safety, pharmacology, and care coordination/management.
Corequisites
MTH 100 or higher, BIO 201 with a grade of “C” or better.
