This course provides an overview of the responsibilities of the human resources supervisor. Topics include employee selection, placement, testing, orientation, training, rating, promotion, and transfer.

MST 215: Small Business Management

Semester Hours 3

This course offers an overview of how to create and manage a small business. Topics include buying a franchise, starting a business, identifying capital resources, understanding markets, managing customer credit, overseeing accounting systems, budgeting, inventory management, purchasing insurance, and the significance of proper legal counsel.

MST 231: Management Seminar

Semester Hours 3

This course studies current problems, issues, and developments in management. Students are guided through individual projects and outside research related to their areas of concentration and employment training.
